Ive been having GREAT SUCCESS with all my customers using this technique. Actually so much success that we are about three weeks deep in plug jobs now, bc after they tried it, they loved it so much that i now have to redo their entir arsenal...(doooh). But hey plug jobs are where the money is right. Just a shame theyre a PITA lol.
Question.... I dont have a jig that does ovals, so oval angle etc is still a bit foreign to me, so im not sure if this is common kowledge or if this is something that im developing myself, but what ive been doing lately when drilling a CLT finger pitches is i will also drill another transposed centerline in the opposite Direction for the thumbhole. Basically, i will find their oval angle on their old ball that fits them well, then draw a line perpendicular to their thumb oval line, which for a righty usually ends up running about an ich to the right of the ring finger, and then i line the ball in the jig with that line straight up and down, and then dial in my the thumb pitches. Is this a common practice?
