i'm gonna be the village idiot of this post and say...whatever strike ball i'm using (unless it's my Freak, in which case i'll use my EMB XF) and it's not that I don't believe in spare balls, but space limitations forced me to tweak my game to be able to use any ball as a spare ball in order to carry that fourth important strike ball.

Nu-Line X-Calibur.  The original reactive resin ball.  Current hook potential = about 2 boards.

Have used a green LT-48, a blue white dot and now a red sparkle maxim.

I have a few that I have used in the past, but my fav of those was the Storm Golf Ball. Shot 279 with that thing on fried lanes in a tournament once.

Currently I use an Ebonite Yin Yang. I got it used, and it was sort of drilled for a full roller. The pin is in the track. This thing does not hook at all. And to make sure it won't it tracks over the thumb hole. I plan on drilling any spare ball I use like it from now on.

I am however looking for a Spider Man ball, maybe even a Sponge Bob Square Pants as well. Anyone have one?

USA Pride Vis A ball.
And when that one tracks up, I have another one waiting.

The ONLY ball I've ever bought just for looks.
