What were your feelings about the telecast?  I liked the two matches that we got to see...but honestly I'm getting a little sick of trick shots taking up a bulk of time.  I think you could've boiled that down to 15 minutes and given us a behind the scenes look at qualifying or some other highlights if they didn't want to show us other matches.

Oh well...there is always next week.

Ditto, the trick shooting is cool and all, but lets see some more matches!

Like I said in another post.

Once you seen a ball roll under and over a chair and one thrown from a towel, well, you've seen it and its time to move on.

I thought the telecast was boring too.

Honestly, I do not even like the way Randy Pederson
announces the action.  At times, he slurrs his words
or gets caught in between words.  Marshall Holman does
not have much of a personality either.

Honestly, when bowling was on ABC, the commentary
was much better.  Even, Mike Durbin is pretty good.
His bowling tips were pretty good.

I think, the PBA has to get back to basics.  Show casing
bowling, the sport.  Show more bowling and stop the
fluff.  And, I think, give more technical information
about the bowling balls.  Give real bowling tips.
Tips that you need to know to become a pro.

There are enough bowlers around the world, that they should
taylor the telecast to the bowler.  Take NFL broadcasts
for example.  They dissect plays with great detail and provide
you a greater understanding of the game/teams.  They assume
the audience knows something about football and wants to
know more about details.  Same with baseball.  If you
are a Yankee fan, you know of Rivera's split finger
fast ball.  If you are a Pete Weber fan, do you know of his
bowling ball drilling for that telecast?  What is the
surface of the ball?

Honestly, after watching a PBA telecast, have you learned
more about bowling or your favorite player?

maybe when they have a trick shot like those in pool.  Make the ball come backwards/ throw ball bown lane 7 hit pins on lane 10 something diff.

You can only see the over/under the chair shots so many times then it is just napping material.

The trick shot thing has jumped the shark. Voss duct taping a child''s booster seat to his head?

I''d rather see more split shooting, like we saw during the king of the hill series over the summer. Rec and league bowlers are more familiar with splits.
