IS NO LONGER A MYTH!!!!!!  

damn!!!! is all i have to say, i've hit my ankle plenty of times really good too, enough to bruise, but damn, i've never drawn blood....

I once saw a guy in youth leagues hit the back of his ankle square with the ball very hard.  It completely took his leg out from underneath him, he landed halfway out to the arrows.  Needless to say, he didn't bowl the rest of the day after that!

I have several times either hit my ankle bone or worse yet have it slipped off and hit your left foot to go in the gutter.What is worse about that is that you had two strikes in a row.

Does anybody have any idea when they are going to reshow the Doubles event on TV?  I didn't have the chance to watch it sunday and my father didn't have the chance to record it due to a family emergency.

Between someone whacking their ankle, some thong slippage and just the fact that it was a mixed doubles event, it sounds like something that would be fun to watch.

Please let me know if you know when its going to be on or if it has been posted on Youtube yet.

The full show is up on Youtube.  Do a search for "2009 Don and Paula Carter Mixed Doubles Championship"

They don't have video of Jen Petrick hitting her ankle -- it happened during warmups.  They do, however, show you the spot on her ankle that she hit.  Ouch!
