Manufacturer’s Intent: The concept behind the design and creation of our latest 900 series release was one that was quickly agreed upon. Our goal was to create a ball that simply out hooked and performed every ball ever made in the history of Track. This was no small task but one that R & D quickly accepted and accomplished.
Core: The Legion 2 Turbo core is back. This core creates easy revs while storing plenty of energy for the back end of the lane and most importantly the pins. Whether wrapped with a shiny or dull cover, the Legion 2 Turbo core provides the perfect entry angle through the pins.
Cover: The 912T features our brand new Gen ET (Extreme Traction) cover. The “Traction” this cover creates is out of this world. We accomplished this by taking our Gen XT (Xtra Traction) cover used on the popular 716T and slowly increased the “Traction” additives until we created the best cover to match up with heavy oil patterns.
Finish: In order to create the strong overall hook that was desired when creating the 912T, we decided to go with our newest finishing process. This process uses 1500 Abranet Soft as the last finishing step. Abranet Soft is a new type of sanding material that was developed to minimize clogging while sanding. The foam layer and open structure of Abranet Soft provides more flexibility and allows the material to follow surface contours more effectively.
Overall: Fear heavy oil no more. The Track 912T has arrived. The combination of our Legion 2 Turbo core and the brand new Gen ET (Extreme Traction) cover will give the competition “Hook Envy”. The 912T provides the most overall traction ever seen from Track.

Hey track fans And family let's talk a bit about the 912t. I believe this will definitely be the strongest 9 series ball yet, I threw it compared to my others and it's just insane. The ball motion is great it reads the mods like I wanted and does not quit down lane this ball is a "truck". I even drilled one 45x6 1/4x30 and the ball clears the fronts great but makes it all up on the back end. If you loke your 716t then you definitely want the stronger addition. Even if you haven't bought a 716t or don't match up well with it you will love the 912t. This ball is a beast definitely a just have.

COMMENTS

Likes: The 912T offers a very strong coverstock designed to be the strongest in Track's current line (accomplished!) while having a core that still allows the ball to retain energy. I went 50x5x35 with the layout, giving me a very similar pin and MB placement as a Hell Raiser Revenge that I had prior to signing with Track - the 912T offers a stronger coverstock that will handle oil just as well if not better than the HRR, and offers a more controlled (but strong!) arc at the end of the pattern, allowing you to stay with a stronger hand position and keep the ball in your hand for a longer period of time

I can see this ball being used on heavier volumes of oil or longer patterns such as Shark and Scorpion on the fresh, and going pin up or adding a touch of polish will help the ball retain more energy when the head oil starts to disappear

Dislikes: My only dislike is that I have not drilled a second one yet - the next layout will be a longer pin-to-pap but pin down, and with a smoother surface (will take the ball to 4000 grit abralon before drilling to allow it to retain more energy)

Likes:This ball is a monster using the drilling #2 off the Track drilling sheet it hooks about three to four more boards then my 716t drilled the same way. Using it with the box finish the ball would hook from anywhere ,polished with powerhouse factory finish and hit it with 3000 abralon pad and got through the heads much easier with just as much hook on the backend.Cant wait till I can use it in a tournament

Likes: LOTS OF HOOK!!!!! This ball is a winner, that's for sure. This ball out hooks EVERYTHING that Track currently offers which is exactly what you would expect from this ball. This ball rev's really well in the midlane and has great continuation through the pins. I was not expecting this much overall hook from this ball when I drilled it but holy cow does this thing read the pattern no matter how much oil is present. Layout was 45 x 4.75 x 65, thinking that the midlane read would help blend it out and I would be able to play tighter to the pocket. I was off on that though because even though the midlane was about what I was expecting, the way this ball comes off the spot really shocked me. I can open the lane up quite a bit relative to other balls I have put this same layout on. If you need a hook monster this upcoming tournament season look no further because you wont get a ball better than this!!!

Likes:  Tons of hook.  Very versatile on different patterns.

Dislikes:  Almost too much hook on some of the shorter patterns.

This ball is simply amazing.  I cannot get over the fact of how much it hooks.  This ball is easily the most hooking ball that Track has produced yet.  I have thrown this ball on every condition from your THS to the Shark and Scorpion patterns and haven't found a condition that it doesn't dominate.  I almost feel like no matter where I throw it, it will hook back.  If you are looking for a ball that is versatile on many different lane patters and will give you that miss room that you are looking for, look no further than the 912T!

I would recommend the 912T. On a house shot the 912T is strong in the back and, as a tweener, I can either play up the boards or move in with it. I currently have my 912T with the pin below the fingers and a light shine.

Comments
I removed the factory polish and went to 2000 abralon to be the first ball out of the bag on fresh house shot. The ball gets through the heads nicely and is very strong off the break point.  The carry is great but it needs to be put away when the track burns up.  Another great ball from Track.
