Oh man can't wait to get my hands on my Pearl Hook! Going to be sweeeeeeeeeeeeet on those shorter patterns and on the broken down conditions I run into!

Once again great job on the video's!  I like how the red and yellow one looks and rolls.  Is the orange and purple one any different than the two in the video? Or is it just another color?  Thanks!

Cannot wait to try the Red/Yellow ball. Our summer league will be based on the 12 team usa experience patterns, anxious to see how it will roll

Hosel,

The Red/Orange Hook is a polished solid.

The Purple/Orange Hook is a polished pearl.

Should see a bit of a difference with the pearl going a bit longer and having more pop on the backend.

Despire the fact that the 900 Global website says the red/yellow and orange/purple are both 2000 abralon polished, they say the orange/purple has more backend.

If memory serves me correct, the core of the Hook! looks very similar (if not identical) to core in the AMF Code, and the coverstock rating of the Hook! is in the same neighborhood as the Code, too.  I really liked the Code and the N'Cryption Code, both great balls.

I believe this is, as far as I know, because the Red/Yellow ball is a solid, finished at P2000 grit polished.
The Orange Purple ball is a pearl, finished at P2000 grit polished.
The Blue/Blue ball is a pearl, finished at P4000 grit  and left dull.

I also believe, from what I can see, the core is from the Code/N-Code, but was elongated to increase the RG.

Coverstock on the Hook is S43, so thinking ball reaction similar to Creature Solid (S40), but with a little more flare. This looks very inviting as looks like this should fit right below my Longshot. On a side note, Longshot for me has a ton of backend w/ recovery and mistake room; more than anticipated. Totally takes the place of Maniac, Lunatic, and Creature Pearl for me in that spot. Can't wait for the pearl Hook to come in. Looking to put a similar layout as my Longshot (5x4). Just hope it isn't too snappy off of the dry. I am liking the more controlable layouts and core combinations. Love the N-Code, as that ball is still money. I have a good feeling that this Hook! will be paying for itself in no time. Nonetheless, will be a great addition to the lineup.
