Given the specs of the Honey Badger's 14 lb. core, I strongly suspect the 14 lb. ball will be almost completely different in ball reaction and in oil handling from the 15 lb. and 16 lb. versions.

Has anyone yet drilled up a 14 lb. HB and what did you find:
- how much oil can it handling?
- what does it breakpoint look like, on true medium oil?

Of course, we need to know your release/delivery specs and how you drilled it

Wow, don't normally see that difference between 14 & 15/16. You do when you get below 14. As one who throws 13 lbs, most reviews don't mean so much to me. Coverstock does, otherwise I look at rg and diff on the manufacturers website for the weight I am using, and use those in my decision. I would expect reviews on Honey Badger to be of little use for a 14 lb ball

I bet numbers are going to lie when it comes to predicting ball motion on this one. Every time I see it, I'm more and more impressed.

No, I have not, but let me tell you about a little ball I love, called the Link. 2.61, 0.030, 0.005 rocking S30. On mediums, I could really open up the lane and the ball had no quit to it.

Now, 14 lbs HB is 2.64, 0.020, and 0.003 with S71. Slightly higher RG, slightly lower diff. Strong flippy shell on it. The ball is going to push easy and when it sees friction isn't going to flare out.

I can't wait for someone to throw one to set everyone's mind at ease.

Well, the Orbit Extreme had a very elliptical core. Very X ish. The cores in both the HB and the Link were much taller. When that tall core finds it's PSA, it changes direction much quicker than the elliptical shape.
