« on: August 14, 2008, 05:30:17 AM »
Yes, its true I will start to sell 900 global balls online on my www.juniorsproshop.com website soon to be completed.

Products will be for sale worldwide with the exception of the USA. Sorry, still can't sell it in the states. However we will be providing competitive pricing for the entire 900 Global line for the rest of the world. Shipping to europe, Asia, and Canada will be offered.

Its a bit of a teaser post but I had to do it. I've been sitting on this for nearly a month.

JLS,

Until Phil gives you the approval, why not just go with "bull dog"?  I think that fits, too.

Sir
Easy answer to a good question.

Actually some do,  however if you sell a customer a ball that you bought online and not from a dist.  and if said ball should crack,  that ball is not warranted,  because you did not buy it from the companies dist.

Only product a pro shop buys from the Dist. is under warranty.  Or in this case if you buy the ball directly from the ball company.

Thanks for the response!
Another question:
How many cracked/defective balls do proshops actually send back to a distributor in a year?

Maybe 10-15

JLS,

Why wouldn't Newguy not like you you've been defending his company and standing up for it.  He should be thrilled that he has loyal customers like that!

Here is a perfect example of someone who does not have a clue.

Please enlighten me as to which "clue" it is that I do not have.

I have purchased the Break, Break Pearl, Creature, Creature Pearl, S75, and Code. In fact, I drilled my second Code this morning.

Am I not worthy because I drill my own equipment? Is it because I do not have a storefront?

I spent two years dicking around with three different ball drillers, and none of them were able to fit me properly. It was at that point I decided to just buy the equipment needed to do it myself. I did not invest in the equipment for the sole purpose of saving money on balls and drilling. That was just a nice side benefit. I did it because I can drill my balls better than the three local pro shops can. I do not claim to be an expert by any stretch of the imagination. This is why I only drill for myself, my family, and one close friend. Also, I am not out to take anyone's business away. I just could not continue to throw ill-fitting bowling balls and expect to do any good with them. I know there are good shops out there, but they are certainly not in my area.

The only point I made in the beginning of this thread was that it would be nice if I did not have to pay retail to by an undrilled bowling ball. That said, I have obviously done it because I have the entire lineup. I have made money with the balls. I understand that concept. Still, it would be nice to catch a deal on an undrilled ball.

So tell me, chihuahua...
Which "clue" don't I have?

Nova,  what did I say to get your crude response.  All I did was point out to Luv2 how he could possibly get a Break at a better price.  You responded with your kinder garden remarks.

I didn't see you take the time to tell him how he might get the ball at a better price.  No your just a potty mouth lowlife who thinks he is a bowler.
your a dime a doz.  there are about 59 replies to this thread. And about 3 that were crude.  Most replies tried to address the topic on hand.

Now I love your remark about dicking around with ball drillers, and now you do your own.   Well guess what, If you screw up your own ball, who you going to complain too.   Ya no where on this planet is there a decent ball driller that can fit you,  cause your special.

You are like a pimple on someones butt,  It's there and thank goodness it can't be seen!!!!!!!

now be gone you loser

Not ripping ANYONE....

But here is the problem. This has turned into a personal issue. This is exactly what happened many times in the Lane 1 forum, when someone would step up and state a comment not consistant with what the Lane 1 users thought. This person was rediculed and almost ran out of town for even bringing up a contra point. What that caused is potential customers to stop buying Lane 1 products. Even though as far as I know there is only maybe 1 higher up in Lane 1 on here, people who were rediculed then turned on Lane 1 as they associated the people on this forum doing the rediculing as a Lane 1 rep since they promoted Lane 1 for everything. Ask Nova how that turned out...he had 50+ Lane 1s, almost had all of them, and then simply sold them off after he was tired on the continous senselessness from some of the posters in the Lane 1 forum. Nova got tired of their slams and simply said thats enough. Granted, Lane 1 or any other company may not feel the effect of 1 or 2 less ball sales here and there, but if many people log onto here and got turned off to the product, this can start to have an effect.

What I am trying to say here is JLS, I know exactly where you are coming from defending a product. It is a great product from San Antonio. However, you do not want to get into the name calling and then have potential customers to Global not buy the product due to someone poking and prodding and doing name calling. It could very easily turn a sale away, especially from a smaller company which is not readily available on the internet due to the sales practices Global enforces. Not only does this have a detrimental effect on you as a pro shop operator, then you have all of the execs from Global not too happy as we know Eric and Phil and who knows else posts on here and reads here everyday. If they see your posts are turing away customers, it could come back to haunt you. Take the high road, look past the snide remarks if thrown at you, and just promote the product as you have been and everything will be fine.

Well,  that's the way it is I guess.  But since I am not selling Newguy,  I am selling Break's and Creature's, it really does not matter.

My customer's love the way the ball preforms, most never heard of newguy.

And right now I think their product is as good as anyone's on the market.  so I stock them and recommend them to my customer's.

That's all that counts.

3835,  You may be right,  but if so don't you think Newguy or Eric would have addressed the crude remark from Nova.  They didn't!!!!!!  They saw it!!!!!

Nova is someone who surfs the net and loves to bash, he seldoms adds to a post.
I think real customers can see this with one eye shut.

I seriously doubt that Global lost any sales, if anything,  they probably gained.

Like I said,  I am not selling a product called Newguy,  I am selling a product he makes.  I find it to be a quality product and I feel that I can recommend it freely to my customers.

And so I do.

But I will not take crap from some third grader like Nova.

He is a member of the geek squad that surfs this site only to bash, seldom to add to a topic.

They love it when they bash and the person runs and hides.

"Pit Bulls"  do not run and hide from French poodles like Nova.

We chew them up and spit them out.

just in case you wanted to know

ok

JLS,

Just be careful. Thats all. Its great that you have such a high pride for their product. Just remember how Brunswick and Lane 1 gets called on the carpet all of the time for the bashing....

Plus, they may not have seen it. They do have other things to do during the day than surf here like us.

Oh they saw it,   "pit bull"

Once again,  their product like some other products I sell are first class quality.  That is why I speak highly of their "product"

Now I don't visit Lane one much,  new meaning to the word vicious there

As for Brunswick,  I really don't sell that much Brunswick, so no need to visit there much,  especially since they disc. the Fury, and "I lost millions"

For well over a year now, people have been bashing Global about not selling online.  I think in many cases they are sales reps from other companies.
They are seeing more and more little shops stocking and selling Global, at their expense. and they don't like it.  I love it!!!!!
