I literally just got to throw my new X last night. Bowled all 3 games of league with it. Shot 249, 258, 238. Granted these are just league scores, but I did want to let everyone know what I saw out of the X. I really enjoyed the Chemical X as it gave me that benchmark look on the fresh. The only thing missing for me was down lane motion out of the cover for when I had to get deeper. This was not a big problem as I would just go to my Black Ops or something else when I needed to. Well my hopes for the X were that this ball would not only give me more motion, but would hopefully allow me to use it longer than the Chemical X. After the first game, I could really tell that this ball gave me what I was hoping for. I have it drilled with pin below my middle finger which is what I threw all 3 games yesterday with. About 5 inches off my axis. No extra hole. I know a lot of people may not believe me, but the motion I get out of the X is pretty close to the IQ Tour Solid. It is a perfect benchmark ball, but definitely has enough motion to open up your angles and not sacrifice hits. I think this one is definitely going to be more versatile than the Chemical X.

Oh one thing I did forget, even with the stronger cover S55 vs. S57, I thought the X was cleaner and way more defined down lane than the Chemical X.

Agreed, great benchmark ball. I easily put it as very similar to the Favorite and Darkness. Very predictable ball motion. Definitely picks up where the Chemical X left off. 900 Global hit the nail on the head with this one. It really has a very continuous and strong backend motion that will allow bowlers to continue to chase the oil and move deeper without sacrificing backend motion. I used mine on the Viper and was thoroughly impressed. Averaged close to 240 with it. I can't say enough about this ball. This is something everyone needs in their bag.
