it has the same numbers as the original break. mine reminds me of my black widow solid with a little more kick in the back. and so far... its still alive...
-
it is the same as the break, just different color combo, mine seems to have more recovery than my original, BTM says the same thing.

Would or could this ball compare to the Storm Reign of Fire if I brought the Break Out down to the same 1000 grit OOB cover that the ROF has?
-
How would this ball compare to the Break pearl? The numbers are close to this one except 4000 vs 2000 grit. I have a Break pearl at 2000 out of box and another one at 4000. Not sure if I should bite on the break out yet.

The ball is more midlane and a touch more angular for me than the Original Break. Nice ball for medium to heavy.
Great go-to ball for many styles.

The reign of fire is symetrical you are trying to compare an orange to a cucumber. Break out is a great ball for medium to heavy with or without carrydown. I prefer to use mine when there is some carrydown to smooth out the backend but that is because i have mine drilled to go long.

The break pearl is well a pearl. And this is a solid
And OOB on the break pearl was 2000 POLISHED not 2000 grit. Theres a difference.
And the OOB on the Break out is 4000. So there is a decent amount of difference between the two.

Well to me, if you sand it at 600 and polish it up, it reminds me of a Break Pearl.. Both were 2.48 / .058.
But that's living in the past....
The big question is....
How will the Break Out compare to the "Pit Bull" oops

The ball is amazing!! I'm a righty with high revs & ball speed. I have it drilled with the pin under my ring finger, mb below my thumb ( just right of center). I just used what was on a rag for polish, just to give it a touch more length. Its always the first ball out of my bag and the carry is insane. Go get one!!
-
It does need oil, if you get a nice House Shot with some oil you can send it right and watch it charge the hole and shatter the pins.
-
Best 900G Ball in my opinion!

What color is the ball?
I thought it was blue and black, but I saw one tonight that was blue and purple. I don't believe it was marked as a blem or 2nd - I didn't see an "X" in the serial number.

The color of this ball is Blue and Purple. I have never seen a Blue and Black one. The original Break is Black.

I would not use the Break Out or Break on anything less than a medium shot unless it's drilled fairly weak. This season, my Break is too much ball for my THS. I am using Pearls as the volume has decreased considerably since last season.

Thanks, not sure where I got black and blue from.
Of course, the pic on the website does look black and blue to me:
http://www.900global.com/balls/breakout
And couldn't really tell from beachcomberjones' pic:

But I did a litte research and found some more:

I like the blue/purple combo. I reminds me of another ball, but I can't remember what.

Color and ball movement is like a gladiator solid but angular. Might drill up a break point as a step down but idk yet.

I have found the ball reaction to be a very strong controlled arc. Have not had any problem with the drilling that tekneek put on my ball with the ball over reacting. I have been able to throw it on medium to medium heavy oil with success.

it is no doubt one of the most overlooked balls on the market today, I'd stack it against anything in its class, definitely shows me more than the Widow Line, and the Storm Dimensions, and VG's and ROF.

Steve, you tempt me so!
I'm still getting good use out of my original, and just found a NIB sitting in the corner. I love the classic black, but no doubt the blue/purple looks good going down the lane!
-
Not really sure the gagging and barfing comments were necessary especially if someone used those words towards the Break Out but...
Anyways I loved my Break when I had it, super strong back end motion and super clean down lane even at 2000ab. It's too much ball for these parts but it's probably the best ball I've ever used when facing carry down.
