Topic is pretty much old news, but just found another reason to be disappointed at the decision (though I do understand). I have been tossing about what company or companies equipment I might replace my 900 arsenal with so I can bowl regionals. I was more or less on Storm's southwest staff years ago, so thought why not look at them and Roto Grip. I did like both the balls I rolled from them at the recent event in Dallas. Well guess what, if you aren't a full member of the PBA they won't sell to you. So, there goes the discount. I did have a full membership for many years but a bad back forced me to dial back (pun intended) my participation and chose the less expensive standard membership. Anyway so the only choices become Ebonite or Brunswick brands. Ebonite makes purchases rather difficult with a mail in only option and no pin choice. Which is a great example of why I use 900 products. They are so customer service oriented and Eric has always gone beyond to get me what I needed for weights, pins or support. So the PBA membership takes another hit and keeping the card or not gets to be a tougher decision.
