Please don't assume that because Reacta Shine says "1500" grit, that it will put a 1500 grit shine on your Link if you apply it as is.
WHat about "2000 grit polish" have you not seen anywhere?
They apply it with an abrasive polish that takes the surface to 2000 grit and applies a shine to it at the same time.
If you'd like it finer than that, in order to go longer and hook less, sand it to 4000 grit Abralon and apply a good polish, like Storm's Xtra Shine or Valentino's Snake Oil, over that finish.
If you need more length that that, apply Powerhouse's Delayed Reaction. It has slip agent that prevents oil absorption. It adds length and reduces backend.
