Badger Infused ?
« on: November 14, 2019, 11:36:51 AM »
Just had a few questions for anybody who has thrown one.

Does it roll more like a strong urethane or a weak reactive?

looking for a ball that rolls like my Fever Pitch but has a bit more back end, wondering if this ball will fit the bill !

Have you looked at the Covert Tank?

my proshop guy recomended that ball, it is on my short list, but wanted to see how the Badger was before i picked up anything.

i also have a Purple Beast that i am going to try w/ some surface (goes way too long polished)

This ball may be the biggest surprise in our lineup. The core gets it to shape up nice, but it doesn't miss the mids oob. I could see it being closer to the Purple Hammer, with it's higher rg. It does hook more than you would think with it being our "weakest" cover, but it's still very controllable. It's not a Boost or anything like that, but you can still getmit to shape once you have to chase it left.

i think i am going to give it shot, I have stronger balls & can play inside but since my arm injury I found playing the outside is easier for me, + I get over/under. Am rev dominate & reactive is hard to control & find the shape of urathane better for my game.

Closer to reactive in my experience.  I drilled one about a month ago to relpace my shadow ops which had cracked.  I by no means overpower the ball so those who throw harder may see sifferent results, but watching the ball roll for me I wouldn't have guessed there was a urethane component to it if I hadn't known prior.  Overall very happy.  Its been versatile for me.  More ball than i wanted to replace my shadow ops with but still less then a typical reactive.
