what result did you get from your bank after polishing it. The bank is turning out to be another dud ball. I have had 2 one drilled pin upand one pin down both at about 3 and 3/8 and neither one has impressed me. When there is oil I have to play tight and slow and when the shot is less demanding I get over under. Its easier for me to get a read on the lanes with weaker equipment. I leave a 10 pins like anything move right and run thru the nose. I really barely use it. So, I am wondering,what results do you get from polishing it.

I just got one and was having the same problem. Take it down with 800 grit and you should be fine.

A teammate of mine has the Bank and I wasnt impressed either. But he is throwing it at OOB surface. I think he would be alot happier if he changed the surface also.

I was not liking my Bank until I polished it with Valentino's Snake Oil. Now I like it much, much better.

Interesting I had 2 both hooked out of the house at box, at the break poiint it was left turn city !!!

A 3 3/8 pin to pap is going to roll out unless you have 90 degrees of axis rotation. For most bowlers that layout is going to hook at their toes and they will never know it. It will appear as if it's not hooking at all and enters the pocket flat. Shoot me an email if you need help laying it out.

Thanks brunswick for moving bowling ball manufacturing to Mexico. 
Now using 900 Global & AMF equipment, scoring higher than when I was using brunswick plus it's manufactured in America by Americans.

Over the past couple of years manufactures have developed stronger resins, stronger cores by doing so they have done away with 3-3/8 pin to pap as "the" preferred distance as leverage or highest flare potential distance, most now are using 4" pin to pap for the so called leverage distance. Anything less will cause the ball to burn excessive energy early and not have much left at 60 feet.

Eric hit it on the button! I don't see why people take a very STRONG ball and put the strongest drill pattern on it. That sucker is hooking at your toes and fluttering down the lane. If you asked for that drill its your own fault, but if your driller suggested it, I would raise some heII. Lesson learned. Same thing happened to me once. I learned that lesson, but I'll never do it again though.

this drill for me,gives good midlane rerad and decent backend. t is usually a good layout for me with stronger equipment. I realize the strength of the ball,I am just not sure on how to incorporate it into my game. I shot it last night, no polish,and the first 2 games were dismal,but I juust used it as a fact finding night and end of the second game I finally found something that worked,I had to alter my release and give the ball more head oil it worked pretty well so we will see,still not anything but a heavy oil ball though

My pro shop put a RICO drilling on my bank and love the reaction. Length with plenty of back end.

You wanna see where your ball reaction is occurring, put a piece of white tape on your PAP and see if:
1) You're PAP is correct
2) See where the ball loses axis rotation on the lane. This is a huge reference point and you can tell if the ball is reading way too soon or way too late.
