Title: Bank roll and Train
Post by: gokenong on February 27, 2012, 10:02:34 AM
Was wondering if anyone of you guys own both of these balls? How do they differ from each other. I own the bank roll and the Raw Profit. Am thinking of getting the Train. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Give me a few days.  Just got a Train and Black Mamba from UPS today.  I have a Bank Roll and a Raw Profit along with about 11 other 900 Global balls.  I will give you a comparison soon.

The Train is stronger than the Bank Roll. I have 3 Raw Profits (3 different drillings), and a Bank Roll,  and the Train is now my favorite 900 Global ball. I believe it is 5 boards stronger than the Bank Roll, which I throw when I need a smoother reaction down the lane, especially on some Sport patterns. I just punched out a Black Mamba which has a similar motion to my Bank Roll, but smoother and more overall hook, just from my 6 games throwing that piece. Have won our thirty clean pot with the Mamba yesterday, but back to the original topic, The Train is long and strong, especially for a symmetrical core ball, you wont be disappointed, it will cover some boards, similar to my Raw Profits.

Ok threw my Train and Black Mamba first time last night.  Train too strong for the house shot, mine is drilled pin under ring finger OBB finish.  Black Mamba pin under bridge OBB finish was good for about five frames on the fresh shot.

The train is the strongest out of the Raw Profit and Bank Roll.  For me the Bank Roll is very rolly (if that is even a word).  The Self Righting Core make the ball very smooth.  The Raw Profit gives me the most push down the lane before making a move.  My Raw Profif and Bank Roll are drilled pin over the fingers and kicked to the right of the ring finger.  The Train is smooth through the mid lane and makes a smooth move when it rolls up.

If you want to add a stronger ball to your arsenal then get the Train.  Hope this helps.

In the bag: Lunatic, Break Pearl, Break Point Pearl, Bounty, Bounty Hunter Pearl, Raw Profit, Nuts Pearl, Break S75, Earth Ball, Train, Black Mamba

I would suggest to get a strong pearl from 900 global and the Nuts Pearl is slowly becoming my first ball outta the bag, very good length with a good snap on the back end.

900 Global, Is there any other ball companies out there?
