Both balls really complement each other well; they are two of the best balls I've ever thrown. Strong, continuous reaction, without over-under...very versatile...and the change in cover (from solid to pearl, or vice versa) just allows you to handle different amounts of oil.
On a THS, I like using my Break Pearl or my weak-drill AMF Hei$t, depending on how much angle to the pocket I need. The Break Pearl is definitely strong at the breakpoint -- but it's also very readable. In other words, it's not so skid-flippy as to be uncontrollable or hit/miss.
On heavier patterns, the Break Solid is a stand-out. Gets through the heads without crapping out, picks up in the midlane, and then powers all the way through the pins. Polishing gives more length, scuffing would allow you to use it on heavy-flood, depending on low a grit you go. I prefer mine at OOB 4000, though -- just the right amount of read on the vast majority of heavier patterns I see.
