The Beak OOB for Team
« on: April 05, 2008, 11:29:49 AM »
Is the OOB surface enough for the team event ?  I plan on drilling one up and  a pearl, but wanted to know if I should have them add some surface...

Also, Has anyone used these in the Rotogrip Challange ?  I hear that the Break might be too much on that condition and starting with the pearl is the way to go...

Thanks.

The Beak out of the box should be fine...The Break on the other hand may be too much, depending on you game. Best to check with the booth at the nationals, those guys are pretty much up on the conditions and how to play them. May cost you a few bucks to change the surface there but it is well worth it. good luck

I used a Break with a 5.5 inch pin no hole with a little scuff. Playing about 12 to 5.  Ended up shooting 449 for third that day.  The better reaction was from outside of 5 with weaker equipment.  Good luck.
