Dude.

The guy ordered it from his pro shop to put in his closet, then decided to sell it.  Not exactly the same as a pro shop putting stuff up on the Internet.  I have a hard time believing the guy is going to make any money on it, considering that the pro shop has already gotten their cut.

He is wrong about one thing, though.  While it's hard to find online, it's not exactly "impossible" to get one.  Your shop can call up 900G and get one, just like every other shop.  (Possibly not until the actual release date, but still, not a hard-to-get ball at any rate).

So the story goes that he bought it from a shop?  That's the reason he has two? I really don't care what happens but 900 says no online selling (new equipment).

First off we will figure out what the deal is with this guy.  I have a hard time believing he just bought these from his pro shop and decided to put them up.  Who buys two to store and secondly how is making any dough unless the shop that sold them didn't make any coin at all.  This really has the smell of a PBA member.  IE the PBA offer has a limit of 2, which this guy has, and the price is under so he could make some money off this transaction.  Please note if this is a PBA member he can and may lose his card because of this.  Believe it or not the PBA will reprimand people for doing these type of things, its an abuse of a privilege not a right.  Secondly when you say hmm no online sales( are you implying that we are bogus in are efforts to prevent this)... Its not like we are promoting this act and we have had to spend time tracking down others that have done this, we will try in every way to protect our customers.  Just because you see some guy trying to play the system doesn't mean that we are not enforcing our policy.  All in all, Rizzo thanks for bringing this to our attention.  As before if anyone knows this guy and wants to help with a good deed pm me any info you have.  Thanks.

ET the topic name wasn't meant in a bogus way.  I know and see what you guys are doing and really think it's good for the business.  I once was in the pro shop business and more manufactures need to be on board to support the shops.

how about getting a clue! people that are in the business are very happy that these guys are stepping up to help the ball market.  The best thing is Global is looking out for the people that are true to the business (brick and mortar shops) and not whoring out the market for a $5 profit.

Somebody posted this in another thread as a place to find the balls.  Looks more like a test site than anything else, but whether or not the guy is selling them on-line is a different story, and does it really make a difference?  There are plenty of places that are not carrying the products and won't take the time to make a purchase for one customer.  All they are doing is limiting their exposure.  These may be the best balls in the world, but if half of the bowlers never see or hear of them then it really doesn't make a difference.

I usually stay out of all the discussion as to why brick and mortar shops pro shops and the industry as a whole is in a decline...but that statement right there is just sad.  In a customer driven field such as a pro shop, the fact that pro shop operators will not take the time to get the customer what he wants is just SAD.  All it takes is one phone call.  Those are the people i will not feel bad for when they go out of business...

Before giving these Break balls to PBA members. Take the serial numbers and match them against the names to who the balls were given to.

We had this topic before, about "some pba" members bootlegging balls on Ebay.
I see it all the time.  I believe last year it was done with the Phoneix.

This along with their famous 10 pin salute,  is why most league bowlers have little respect for PBA wan a bees.

All these guys do is take advantage of the program which allows them to buy new balls at a price!!!  Real PBA members,  actually drill and use the balls.
But as we all can plainly see,  some lowlifes abuse a good program to make a few bucks.   Can't blame all PBA members,  nor the ball companies.

And their is probably little that can be done to stop this,  so don't lose any sleep over it.  It's a fact of life.

900Global is doing their best to try and help pro shops.
And smart pro shops will take notice of this,  and buy their equipment.

Well your right sir.   As a pro shop,  we will and have special ordered balls for our customers that we do not stock.

900Global makes it extremely easy for any real pro shop to buy their equipment.

Telling your customer that you don't want to deal with a certain line,  is a good way to lose that customer.

This last Sat., a customer was calling around,  trying to find a Nighthawk pearl.   none of the shops in our area, including mine,  carried the ball.
But we did tell the customer, that we could order it for him, and get it for him by Wed.,  The day he needed it by.  The order was placed and the ball will be shipped from our dist.  today.  

It's really simple and easy to do.
