BREAK S-75 VIDEO!!!
« on: June 19, 2008, 04:41:57 AM »
Yes, folks, it's here at last. The Break S-75 video!

For this comparison video, I drilled up my Break S-75 6.25 x 4.25. Even with this rather weak drill, the ball is STILL stronger than the Break Solid!

The first part of the video is on a THS at Beverly Lanes in Arlington Heights, IL. Next, I move to a different lane, dressed with the USBC Masters pattern (after four games of use).

Also...a special guest tester makes a rare, unbelievable video appearance at the end of this movie. You won't be able to guess who it is, will you?

Here's the links (YouTube and embeded on my website with the rest of my vids):

*drools*

that s75 is just so sick overall, they really made it not overlap with the solid I  take therefore making it very feasible to have all three breaks.

Yep, it is very possible to have all three Breaks. S-75 is definitely stronger than S-70. The new Break handles more oil, hooks more overall, etc. The original gets further down the lane and makes a stronger backend move...but doesn't cover as many boards.

Three words describe the Break S-75:

Smooth (relative to the other Breaks...lol)...Strong...Continuous...

Man, that basically gives me reasonable cause to try it out, possibly sell my cell and pick it up as I'm digging the roll of the Break series balls and they just work very well for me.

Nice!  I have the Break, and Break Pearl, so the S-75 is next on the list, but does anyone know or have an opinion on how the new AMF Enkrytion Code will be compared to the S-75?

Haven't drilled mine up yet, as I'm fooling around with some pitches first...so...I can't tell you much. Sorry! Britton might be able to chime in.

Nice video.

I thought the Break solid was a strong ball.  The S75 looks impressive!

Think of the S75 as the original Break on steroids.  The S75 is a very strong ball.  The Break is no slouch, either.  And the Break Pearl provides a great move to the hole after a very clean glide through the heads where as the Break S70 & S75 have stronger midlane reads.  Of course that's in OOB condition.  I've knocked a little of the OOB surface on my Break Pearl and it's tamed the backend with a little more midlane read.

i like the video, but you guys told me that the break was the best ball ever, and now you are saying that the 75 ball is the best ever, i was about to get the pearl, but it appears to go very straight now. so this new one is smooth, strong and continuous, arent those the same words that everyone described the break with, i dont know who to believe.

I honestly don't believe I ever, ever said the Break, the Break Pearl, or the Break S-75 are the best balls ever. All three complement each other. All three provide a nice, strong (but not overly strong) backend reaction, with varying amounts of overall hook. All three can be used with much success on different patterns, and the coverstock is both durable and welcoming to surface changes. That doesn't make the balls the best ever, or mean that they'll work for everyone it only means that I, in my experience, have found them to be among the most versatile and usable balls on the market today. I hope that makes sense.

Green engraving on yours and yellow on Brit's, or are my eyes playing tricks on me?
