BREAK S-75 VIDEO!!!
« on: June 19, 2008, 04:41:57 AM »
Yes, folks, it's here at last. The Break S-75 video!

For this comparison video, I drilled up my Break S-75 6.25 x 4.25. Even with this rather weak drill, the ball is STILL stronger than the Break Solid!

The first part of the video is on a THS at Beverly Lanes in Arlington Heights, IL. Next, I move to a different lane, dressed with the USBC Masters pattern (after four games of use).

Also...a special guest tester makes a rare, unbelievable video appearance at the end of this movie. You won't be able to guess who it is, will you?

Here's the links (YouTube and embeded on my website with the rest of my vids):

Green engraving on yours and yellow on Brit's, or are my eyes playing tricks on me?

Must just be the video (or my eyes).  At around 20 seconds, the S75 looks green, but the Break Pearl looks yellow.

Nice video. I currently own a Break and Break Pearl. For me the Break is the best and most consistant ball I own, but it is definately not for heavy oil.  (I don't have a ton of revs). I am considreing the S75 because I like the Break so well. Inill the s the Video it looks like the S75 has the same type of raection as the Break just a little more hook. Is there really that much difference between the 2 balls to justify owning both. Will the S75 work on the heavier oil patterns?
For me the Break Pearl is very condition specific. I like the ball and the carry is good as long as there are clean backends. As soon as I get carrydown the ball wants to skid to far for me. I wish I could get more revs on the ball but I am just your average tweener who is fairly consistant about hitting my spot.

Yes -- there is enough difference between the balls to justify owning both. Remember that the S75 in the video has a weaker drilling than the Break... and still hooks more (and works on heavier patterns).
