Phil - question on shoes

any chance they will be made in wider widths than D?  If so, when can we expect them to be available?  Thanks.

We are limited through our manufacturing on widths, so I do not see wide widths in the near future.

I always recommend to leave the laces loose near the width of your foot.

I believe Phil answered it fully and honestly in his last response. Stocking performance wide width shoes are too costly and, to be honest, there is not enough turnover in these kinds of shoes. If you find the performance of the shoe to your liking, then you should consider a "shoe tree". There are extra
add-ons to shoe trees to stretch the leather that is affecting a certain spot on your foot. You can get a shoe tree just about anywhere. Hope this helps.

big guy doesn't make the shoes, he licenses them from a manufacturer - ABS.  My guess is that they don't make wide widths as they are primarily in Japan and probably don't have the need.

ABS sell only EE width shoes in Japan.

Keep pressuring the manufacturer and US distributor requesting the wide width.  The shoe tree method rarely works for those of use with truly wide feet.  It helps some but not enough.

Dexter hit a home run with their SST6 LX, arguably the best bowling shoe ever made for those with a wide foot.

I know how they got them, 2 years ago we were special ordering sizes over 13. There was an additional up charge. The persons who ordered them cancelled and we had them available so we sold them. The up charge and the time lag were unreasonable so we no longer offer it. I do believe they are D/T not 3G
 I don't offer excuses for how we run our business, I was asked a simple question and gave a direct concise answer, apparently it isn't the answer people want to hear, thus all the "how we should do it's". Not one person on this site sells bowling shoes nor do they know the pitfalls of dealing with overseas manufacturing. We are targeting the masses of our market. We cannot be everything to everyone. Dexter and Etonic have a plan in place to service all sizes we do not.

My business partner and I run high-traffic shops and a size 14 counted for less than 1/2% of all of my shoe sales last fiscal year for both shops. If 900 Global were to produce a size 14 shoe my guess in the near future would to be doing it ONLY on 1 (one) shoe. Still the end user would have a condition with this because it is subjected to one kind of shoe.

I see why there is an additional fee for size 14 shoes - keeps their overhead down and it is "not" a normal size. They have do not have as much market share on shoes as Dexter and Etonic. There is very, very little turnover in this size. Just like stocking mens' 7 - 8 1/2, they just don't turnover as quick as sizes 9-11.

Getting back on topic, to the original poster, have you ever tried the shoe on? I have really wide feet (to match my waistline). I wear 4E New Balance Sneakers and XW Rockport Dress shoes, I have had two pairs Dynoroos D width and they fit fine right out of the box. They are cut very wide to begin with.

Shoes are also hard to find for me. Size 15, unsure of width. But I have found a pair of bowling shoes that I am about to geet. Right now, I am using a size 16 shoe. Just a little too big for me. But yeah, hard to find. Except for at Ross and Marshall's, they always have my size.
