Are the cores in the BH and Lunatic considered to be short or tall cores?
-
Long and short as in low Rg and high Rg?

I mean the actual length of the cores

Why are you seeking that information?

Shorter core always roll better for me. Taller cores lope too much for my game

Can you give examples?

A taller core will usually have a higher differential cause of the difference between the x and y axis of the core or the width and height, plus they tend to be more med rg rating. The shorter cores are usually lower differential cores that are more lower rg cause the mass is concentrated more towards the center of the ball.

Low rg has a higher rev rate then high rg. Don't confuse that with hook.
First BH R.G. 2.487 Hi-rev ball
Lunatic R.G. 2.553 About average to above average rev ball
RotoGrip Pluto R.G. 2.61 low rev ball
With a hi RG like the pluto it gets the ball further down the lanes with out burning up its energy. The Bh and Lunatic depending on drill pattern will tend to roll sooner and rev stronger in the front of the lanes. Need to a have a little of each.
