I bought a used Creature (along with a used Break) from a member here. After plugging them up, I slapped a rico layout on both balls. The Creature was taken down to 500, then sanded up to 1000 followed by a light dose of 3M FinesseIt compound to add some shine.
Stats are in my profile.
I threw it for the first time last night on a medium volume THS (41 feet) with dry outsides. I was playing a small swing across 13-14 at the arrows to a breakpoint of 8-9. Anything outside 6-7 will flip and take off on you, so I try to stay away from the dry bumper.
I don't know if last night was just "one of those nights" or what, but I was able to carry the world. Light hits mixed very well, flush hits were a guaranteed "X", and high hits also tripped the 4. It was a great matchup. I shot 258-239-245 for a nice 742. Cannot wait 'til next week to see if I can back it up.
So far so good. Looks like the Creature has earned a spot in my bag

I am pleased to report the first night was not a fluke

Last three sets with the Creature have been 742, 749, and 715.
This ball is so easy to control and the pin carry is great.
I am one happy camper!

Yeah, nice scoring Jon, not all the ball, you had something to do with it, but a great control piece sure helps !!!!

You really love that Rico drill, Jon! Nice shootin' buddy.
Personally, I'm considering drilling up another Code or another Creature Pearl Rico. I love the way my Breaks roll, and I'd like to see how that drill performs on those great balls as well.
