Ball came in today and I finished drilling it (with a rico layout, of course) 10 minutes before league started. I left it in OOB surface prep.
First game, I was searching a little bit because I did not know what to expect from the ball. By the 5th frame I was dialed in playing a small swing from 13 (arrows) to 7 (breakpoint). Finished up strong for a 238.
Second game, I was in the zone. Front nine. 10th frame, I wussed it and came in just a tad light and left a wobbling 7 pin (I'm a righty). Two pins hit that 7, but it refused to topple. /X for a 279.
Third game, threw the first two strikes, and then the ball started coming in high. 4 pin. Moved left. 9 pin. Moved left. Almost a 4-9, but the 4 fell. Moved left. Through the nose for a big four (operator error). Just could not put anything together as I chased the oil inside. I was consistently one frame behind on my moves. Finished with a 183.
I'm glad I chose a tame layout, because this ball really pops on the backend. I was surprised to see that it was not as speed sensitive as I would have guessed for a polished pearl. I got away with a couple fast balls...they still made it back to the pocket. Mistakes on the slow side will take off though!
Another great 900G product!
I'll take a 700 on the first night out. I am looking forward to throwing this ball again next Tuesday!
