Thanks for chiming in, Doom.
My Dream On is a wonderful tournament ball for me. It's pin down, with the MB on my VAL. It starts up early and once it tips, it doesn't quit. It gets lazy once I'm inside 3rd arrow, or the heads start to go. And when that happens, I can confidently go from Dream On to the Halo.
Looking at the core numbers, and all things equal, it looks like the Flux will want to push further down lane then a Halo or Dream on, and transition a liiiiitle quicker. I've seen a few videos out there, and the shape of the Flux is incredible. It reminds me a lot of the original Black Widow - a fairly quick response to friction with wonderful continuation.
My concern is that the cover strength will be similar to that of the Halo. As long as it's weaker, and still stronger than my trust Inception Pearl, than I'll have a nice home for it <3.
I'm thinking about putting something like 55 x 5.25 x 40 - chill out the backend just a bit with a slightly larger VAL angle. With how continuous the ball looks, I want it to always see a breakpoint because the cover will do the rest of the work.
