Freight train

Ok guys I have loved my trains to death have shot 7 series over 750 and am avg higher now than I ever have but I was wondering there is a freight train in the pro shop that has sat there since it came out and the pro shop guy said he would give me a deal on but its for heavy and our house shot is med heavy at best so I geuss what im asking is should I try it and is so how should I have it drilled my specs r med ball speed 17 mph 460 rev rate pap 4 over 1/8 up. Thanks guys and glad to be throwing 900 now.

Im not sure of the angles but my fav train is pin under bridge with cg in the center of my grip

Why don't you get with your pro shop guy and discuss it?  He has probably seen you bowl and should be able to give you suggestions especially if he drilled your Trains.

The shop has changed hands sence my trains were drilled and the new guy does not speak well of the old guy who was a close friend so I will be taking it to a new shop. Its just a good deal on the ball or I would not be giving him any $

Personally, if you were to drill it the same, I don't think you would see much difference on a THS. Now, if you were to put the pin higher and change the drill angles, there might be enough separation between them. What's the surface at on your favorite Train? Still OOB or did you change the cover?

Your Train is at 1000 grit? Holy moley... I can't even imagine how early it starts up. Freight Train would be longer and stronger at the breakpoint, so maybe polish up the FT to give it some separation?

Ya our house is a flood it has been for about a year its funny I go sub at another house in the area and im like wow polished balls havent seen those in a long time lol
