HB Teal vs HB Extreme Pearl vs HB Revival vs Flux Pearl
« on: July 23, 2021, 02:08:10 PM »
Hey Global fam! I now own all of these pieces - I was gifted most of them lol. I looked at the 15lb balls, and they're all in the same realm of specs & cores:

HBT:     S71 Pearl,     2.47  0.041  0.008
HBEP:   S74R Pearl    2.54  0.053  0.011
HBR:     S70 Hybrid,  2.54  0.048  0.012
FP:       S72R Pearl,   2.55  0.048  0.014

If you've thrown any or all of these, how similar did you find them?

Thank you for all the help!

HBT is an arrow weaker than my HBR now, it could be my league conditions though.

Of the 3 pearls I probably would just slot one into my bag being cores and covers are kind of close.

HBT and FP regardless of any numbers listed above will go through the pins differently being they are 2 peice.

Maybe like HBT and FP would be a good combo.

I use HBT and HBR weekly in my bag......of the 2 vs 3 peice construction, it makes them different enought along with the core and cover diffences.

Good info, Mr. Dozer. The Extreme Pearl is significantly more rolly than the others (thus far). The FP seems to scoot juuuust a bit further down lane than the rest, but it was only a few frames.

Yo, Mr. Dozer, you are not kidding. The reactions of these late-era San Antonio pieces is unrivaled, if you ask me. I've never seen such a good mix of reaction shapes.

The Utah stuff isn't bad, but seems to be missing that "chuggy" feeling the TX gear had.

Yep. But they're doing better than ever. The Zen ball is like the new Hyroad or IQ tour. People are going nuts over it, and now Cabanski is the MAN!  I went exclusive in like 2016 and haven't looked back, not a staffer either.
