Weird that it is listed for flare of 4"-5" with no asterisk next to the 14lbs weight.
Maybe they used one of Mo's super special ultra mega supremely dynamic flare increasing drillings on it without putting an asterisk by that either.
Ball companies are marketing driven. The largest segment of the market won't know, or care, about the numbers, only that it is "cool".
Look, you obviously know a lot about bowling balls, so you know as well as I do what the numbers say about this one.
High rg and low diff = lower flare potential.
Polished pearlized cover = less friction.
Lower flare potential + less friction = length
Backend depends on the oil pattern and the covers response to friction. Could be a house shot champ, or a skid/flip nightmare.
I HAVE NO GRIPE AGAINST 900 GLOBAL, or any other ball company anymore. They only sell because people buy, and plenty of people will buy this one.
If the numbers didn't scare me so much, I might be inclined to try one, but I don't need another ball with these specs. I have several, and I know what they do.........
