Title: Honor Scores with 900 Global
Post by: ggtrey on December 10, 2010, 03:21:21 AM
These balls are rolling really good right now. I had 809 Last Weds with the Bank. And this Weds 300 with the Bank and Yesteday 300 with the Raw Profit. We are making some of the best balls out right now and I dont think there is anything better. Thanks you to Eric Thomas and 900 Global for taking great care of me! If you havent tried our stuff, now is the time!

Nice shooting!!!

I completely agree with your post!  I am loving all the 900 global stuff right now and the only non 900G ball I still bring out from time to time is the 505c.  Got my first honor score- 299 with the bank, as well as my first two sanctioned 700 series.  It has also helped me bring my avg up from 190 this time last year to 212 currently!

all the global balls are top notch, i have no trouble scoreing with any of them ,
but the raw profit is a bit different  it needs some games on it  to figure it out

I have shot 825 this year here in a German League with a Favorite and a Break Pearl.

The Favorite by far is my favorite ball out of my bag right now and I have had huge success with the Break Pearl, S75, Creature Pearl to name a few of the oldies.

Going to punch up a Long Shot and I know eventually I will get some more of the new stuff. Had planned on a Raw Profit and a Profit and possibly a Bank but just picked up a NIB AMF Mega Recovery and a NIB S75 with a perfect long pin to punch up double thumb and I couldn't turn that down.

Looking forward to the start of the year and bowling the big tournaments over here with my 900G (and AMF) and hopefully doing well!

Hey George,

I'm on the fence about drilling the RAW PROFIT I have in the shop.  Would you mind posting a review that includes a comparison to the Break Out and/or Bank that you've drilled.

If not, can you at least send me a private message about the layout you chose and such or if maybe we could chat on the phone.  I know Eric is probably really busy right now and I'm sure he doesn't get to bowl as much as he would like so it helps to talk to those that have had the time to really see the differences between pieces.

Look forward to hearing from you.  Thanks in advance.

I have drilled up 2 Raw Profits along with 2 Banks.
Raw Profits are drilled with a 6" pin and a stacked pin up layout.
Banks are drilled with a Rico'd layout and a 3*5 pin down layout.

So far I can say that ALL 4 balls read the midlane very well.

The Banks seem to make a more continous arc towards the pocket.
While the Raw Profits are more angular.

Drilled my 1st Raw Profit pin up.
Got a call to sub league one night.
Showed up threw some tape in the thumbhole and threw a couple of practice shots.
Ball looked stronger than my Profit.
So I decided to see what it would do.
Shot 300 out of the gate.
I have never taken a ball basically off the drill press and done that before.
Usually I will practice with it and my other stuff to get a feel for what it can or can't do 1st.

Never touched the surface and got a call to sub le

Ok.

I drilled up my 2nd Raw Profit(6"pin) this past friday which I won in a drawing.
Threw it today in match play a shot 238-289-279 for 806.
Went from 16th place to 1st in qualifying.
Lost in the round of 8.

Awesome balls so far.

Loved the Break Out since I got it and this weekend confirmed that feeling. Pesky 4 pin cost me a 300, but it has been too long since the last honor score. I don't think this will be my last opportunity rolling with 900Global.

Thanks Dave and Eric for the support and Global for great products.

Well thought tonight might be the night.  Game one 299 game two 269 game three 205.  Missed one 10 pin.  Used a Bounty Hunter Pearl for the first two and half games.  Switched to a Pearl Break for the last 5 frames.  All I can say is I should have switched equipment sooner.  I keep coming up short for my first 800.

Thanks to Eric and the 900 Global Staff for some awsome equipment.  You know I have come up short on 800 twice in the last three weeks, but what fun I am having just knowing I have a chance in the third game.

Just shot 290-280-247/817 with my polished Bank. I cant wait til i get my Pearl. Then i can keep my Bank at 2000 or 4000abr and have my polished pearl. What a lineup. Thinking of getting a Break Out, Profit and Raw Profit to complete a pretty good arsenal. Maybe even throw in the Favorite and Longshot for those fried conditions

I got my raw profit about 3 weeks ago.  I was throwing nothing but storm the last 8 years.  In one week I shot 279 with a solid seven pin. 279 with a 9 pin. and then 300.  Needless to say I love this ball.  I am looking to add the Bank Pearl to my bag.

Balls in bag.
