Question about Badger Cover

I really like 2 piece balls and currently am thinking about a Badger but curious about the cover. In the past I've kinda been spoiled by 2 piece balls (still regularly winning pots and cashing in tournaments with balls with hundreds of games on them) by Lane-Masters, Dynothane, and of course Visionary. Would really appreciate some feedback on bowlers experience with this cover. How durable is it? Does it trackup easily? Does it die or does it last. Thanks for any feedback.

Well, I haven't heard of any cover death on the HB, and for me, the covers don't "die". So go grab one and have fun!

The Badger is going to be a great choice if you are looking for an option that is a bit earlier than the Honey Badger. The Badger will handle a little bit more oil as well. I'll echo what Doom has said. I personally haven't seen any type of cover death with 900 Global. I have teammates that still throw some older 900 Global and their equipment is performing as expected. Just like all manufacturers balls will get tracked up and regular cleaning and maintenance is always recommended. I would recommend after about 20 to 30 games to get your surface re-adjusted to OOB or to your liking. If you have questions or need any advice on surface management definitely go see your local pro shop operator. I hope this helps.

Haven't put holes in my Badger yet, but if you don't love it, I'll eat my hat.

And if you like pure 2 pieces and a Honey Badger isn't on the list, it should be. Seriously. Drill the Badger with your favorite layout, touch it with a bit of surface, then drill the HB with a small val angle, and leave it shiny. Use the Badger until you start leaving corners, step in and wheel with the HB.

Based on the positive feedback I received about the cover I picked up my Badger 6/15/18 as a early birthday present for myself.

Damn I love this ball. Had it drilled 4x4 stacked, no balance hole, left surface oob. #@!%#$...DAMN... did I say I love it?

Practiced at 3 different houses (1 synthetic, 2 wood), using different releases ball motion/hit/carry was spectacular with lay downs as far right as 6 and as deep left as 33. My other balls usually play well in one(1) particular area (outside, center, or deep). I've never had any other ball come close over such a wide area...and it's pretty.

Very impressive ball, so much so the PSO came out and took videos with his cellphone. Love seeing those unneeded messengers flying across the lane.

Idk if its the higher RG, being 2 piece, or what but I've never thrown a ball that I could read so well going down the lane. I'm 8 games in to mine (3rd game was a 298) and wondering what a 2nd ball with surface would do for me in Game 1.

Ordered an Intense Fire same time I had the badger drilled and at the Alley last night all I could think of was I could have two more badgers for the same price haha.

I have 10* of tilt and approx. 450-500 rpm with ar of 40-60*and a speed of 17 mph. I've discovered awhile ago I do better with the high rg stuff but good balls with a higher rg are hard to come by.

Bit of 2 piece lover myself and don't have a badger but can vouch for all the following as being decent to good balls.  The Honey Badger, the Hy-Road (greatest of all time on THS imo) and HR pearl, all three of the quantums (Green best heavy oil 2 pieces imo but less versatile and oh boy does that new white one look sick) and the Visionary Warlock XV.  I guess Lane Masters makes a bunch of 2 piece as well but never thrown any of their stuff.   Badger does seem to hit a lot of sweet spots so hard to go wrong with it from what I have heard.

Westtex I have the same experience when I throw my Badger. I know exactly what the ball is going to do going down the lane and does this thing hit/carry.

Badger is definitely going to be a money ball (perhaps the money ball) for me. I don't believe I've ever felt this excited about competing with a ball before.

I already have too many balls but it's now hard not to consider getting another Badger and/or a Honey Badger.
