Title: Just Pulled The Trigger On A Dream
Post by: briandking1906 on February 11, 2015, 09:54:58 AM
Wanted to try 900 Global for the first time, and I just pulled the trigger on the Dream.  Even though I know this ball was released some time ago, wanted to get some impressions from you guys that have had this ball for a while now, and put some games on one.

Has the ball met your expectations over time?  Looking for honest opinions whether good or bad.  I am actually pretty excited about this ball just based upon videos and comments I originally saw when the ball was first released.  ;D

Thanks

It seems to be a really good ball. There are a few being thrown in my area and they still react the same as brand new and have a good amount of backend.

From what I've seen, the Dream On and Dream are the closest comparison to the original Virtual Gravity and Gravity Shift. The core rolls really similar to the Shape Lock, at least in my eyes.

Agreed!

You will not be disappointed in the least having the Dream in your bag.  you will find it to go just a touch longer 4 u and have a very nice break point once it hits friction with a ton of continuation all the way through the pin deck. The carry on this ball is awesome, for me the pins seem to stay lower on the deck then other 900 global balls which i think increases the stikes.  Keep us all posted after u have it drilled and also let us know how it rolls for u.. Good Luck with your Dream ball and also giving 900 global a try ;)

Great ball. You won't be disappointed with your purchase. All around good on just about anything. Although being a pearl, heavy oil will not be its true friend. I see it as a longer and stronger Network and a stronger backend than the Black Eagle Pearl. Don't be afraid to put your favorite layout on it. Good luck and let us know how it rolls for you.

It was just delivered today.  Will hopefully get it punched up tomorrow, and out on the lanes for some practice.  Can't wait.

First night out of the bag and box without any practice, shot 701 during Monday night league.  I was beyond impressed with this ball.  If it wasn't for me missing a few 10 pins that night, could have shot much better.  Even with that being said, our 5 man team ended up shooting a 1301 scratch last game, and 3436 scratch for series.

However with that being said, I am glad I decided to get this ball.  Matches up with my game perfectly, especially with it being an Asymetrical. This ball is definitely going to be the first out of the bag for quite a while.  I am considering getting a Break Down as another piece for when the lanes burn up a bit.

Thank You 900 Global.

Very good to hear.  All the new stuff really is excellent.
I think the Break down will be a great choice for you for when the lanes burn up a little bit.
