March Madness Tourney
« on: March 19, 2008, 02:29:51 AM »
If anybody wants to join our 900 Global Bracket challenge you are welcome to.  Phil and myself along with others that work here will be playing. If you want to join here is the info.

go to espn.go.com click the Tournament Challenge link.  If you arent a member create one, its quick and simple.  After you create your user name click create/join league.

Put 900 Global as the league.  Its a private league so you need the password.  Its 900global  just as it appears in this post.  This is free, and just for bragging rights.  Hope we get a few to join.

Thanks

Sweet. I'm in, as I already had an ESPN bracket.

ON EDIT: I'll be in as soon as ESPN fixes the "unavailable right now" glitch.

Ugh!  Wish you would've used Sportsline.com (CBS) for this.  ESPN's system is horrible.  Like rev, I just wasted at least 5 minutes "dragging" picks.  Really, who uses a system that requires you to "drag" the winner?

Edit:  You guys are more than welcome to join my bracket.

Only took 1 post for someone to complain!

ESPN lost me a long time ago.  Plenty of other sport sites out there that actually work, and don't require a paid membership to access half of the content on the site.

If you didn't want to join in the first place, you should have left the thread alone. Start your own thread about the monster that is ESPN.

Wow Chad, who pissed in your Wheaties?  Funny, I don't see how your post was even on topic.....isn't that what you do the best?  Maybe I should notify the mod that you aren't following the rules?  From one "whiney brat" to another!

up to 13 now, still got a few hours to join.  Who wants bragging rights on the Global board?

Phil and I have raised the bar.

WINNER WILL RECIEVE THEIR CHOICE OF A CODE OR BREAK PEARL.

Now if one of us win, everyone has to buy one.  Just kidding.  But trust me if we well let me rephrase if Phil wins our ears may start bleeding from all the smack talk we will have to listen to.

Does that mean everyone who finishes above Phil and Eric get their choice of a Break Pearl or Code?  Because if we beat you guys we are all winners

All joking aside that is a really cool thing to do.  Thanks for the donation to the winner.  How many companies do that.  2 possible free balls from you guys.  The Code if you can get the message in the logo
Choice of Break Pearl or Code if you win the NCAA tournament.

I've got two ESPN brackets already.  Is it cool if I enter both in this group?

Please keep it to one entry.
Trust me you dont want to see Phils brackets.
He has his picks, his PHILosophy picks.
Strength of mascot picks.
Blindfolded finger picks.
Coin toss picks.
And finally his random computer generated picks.

The past couple of years, I did an entire bracket of coin flips.  They surprisingly weren't awful, just medicore.
