What ball(s) was he using at Nats last night??
-
the live stream said it was a king cobra.
-
King Cobra rocks! Used mine at Natl's and worked beautifully. Basically the reincarnation of the Favorite. I bowled in early April and had a chance to do the Showcase lanes with Matt, and when I pulled out the King Cobra, he was very interested to see it. After throwing it a few times, he was quite impressed with the look it gave on the pattern. Not surprised he used one, unfortunately, the live stream aired quite late. I will have to check out a replay of it tonight.

What surface recommendations did he give you for the King Cobra?
-
How will joining Wichita State affect Matt's AMF/900 Global relationship next season?

I must have missed something. Is he going to do some coaching with the Shockers?
-
No. McNeil is going to be attending Wichta State next year. There was another well know bowler going there to, but I can't remember who. I believe Riggs had a blog about it in the past.

I searched Riggs' blog and couldn't find anything. I didn't think Matt would be eligible to compete in college...
-
as long as he has not bowled college events for 4 years total he can compete. there is no ge requirement
-
But doesn't earning money from bowling eliminate his eligibility? I'm asking because I have no clue how that all works.
-
Well, I found the Riggs post regarding this. Interesting...

I guess he's eligible because bowling is not sanctioned by the NCAA.
-
Well, I may go bowl for Mark Scroggins at WTAMU when I enroll for my Masters there. I finished my Bachelor's there in December of 2007, but never used any of my eligibility. I bowled league with Mark a couple of times and I'm sure I could easily convince him to put me on haha.

mens bowling is not part of NCAA so he can earn all the money he wants

Just to keep it at OOB which is 4K abralon. Basically used as a ball to drop down to when having to move in a bit deeper when the lanes start to transition. Definitely didn't disappoint.
