Cant wait to throw it, drilled very similar to my Hack. Im hoping for the same reaction with less overall hook. Good looking ball, I havent had a black ball since the No Mercy. If you look real close the is a hint of glitter(probably cant see it in the pics).

Hey please post if it is similar to your hack just weaker. I have a buddy that is hoping that same thing!!

Sweet. The guy drilling mine won't be back from nationals for a while so I have to wait to get mine until the 6th..agh, it's killing me. This ball on paper looks like it should be super smooth but still strong enough to handle some oil, I can't wait

Ok so I got to throw the ball tonight and it is exactly what I had hoped! There really wasnt enough oil to use it effectively, I bowled a 171 with a pocket 7-10 in the 5th and a chopped 10 in the 6th. During practice through the 3rd frame was nothing but strikes. Ball picks up a nice midlane roll and a smooth hard arc off the dry. Basically the same roll as the Hack, but an arrow inside where I would have started with it. Im sure once temps cool down and they put out the fall shot this ball is gonna be great. I tempted for the Long Shot already.

Any opinion as to how this ball would relate to a similar drilled Maniac?

I am curious as too how it might compare to the Lunatic. That ball is way stronger than expected. While one may come polished and the other sanded from 900 by the numbers the Favorite should be even stronger but smoother. I have sanded the Lunatic and it was too much ball to even use at the Nationals in team out closer to the track area. That was a shock.

Drill my favorite up 45x4x45 box condition. I wanted a smooth predictable benchmark ball that would read the midlane well and be smooth and continuous on the backend. What i got was exactly what I was expecting. This ball on a medium wet dry house shot is phenomenal! Response time off the dry boards was slow and smooth. This ball will be great for when those pearl balls just flip off the dry and go too long in the oil. Don't be afraid to throw this ball in its box condition the weak shell and core gets the ball threw the head nicely on med to med-oily conditions. Compared to a Break point pearl drilled 25x4 5/8x 30. The break point pearl goes about 2 feet longer and flip a ton more on the backed. The favorite will be great working lines 15 and out but once thats gone it will set up the deep inside shot for those skid flip balls.
personally i have never thrown or seen anyone throw a lunatic but this ball i think is the perfect benchmark ball global has i dont want to polish it like the lunatic because i believe that it will make the ball a little skiddy and flippy

Approach the game with no preset agendas and you'll probably come away surprised at your overall efforts.
