Well, I used it last night in league for the first time for all 3 games. After messing with the thumb hole and getting some practice with it on Monday, just focusing on getting out of the ball cleanly, I saw the good roll everyone else was talking about.
I shot 226, 266, 213-705. From the first game to the 2nd game, I threw 11 in a row before leaving a 6 pin in the 7th frame of the 2nd game. I then proceeded to blow the high game pots by forgetting how to bowl on the 11th shot and threw a 7 count, needed to strike to win high game and big p.
The reaction I get is what I was hoping for when drilling this. I have to move in a bit, but not as much as I do with my Hy-Road Pearl. It gets down the lane well, and then when it gets to the backs and flips controllably and so far the carry is good. I left quite a few 6 pins last night, and missed making big enough moves to get back flush. I usually only need to move 1/2-1 board, but last night I found it by making a bigger move, but too late in the game.
I'm going to get some more practice with this ball, and continue to work on getting out of the ball because that's what I've been struggling with all season, and see how it goes.
