Can someone help me understand this reaction? I purchased a S75 a few weeks ago. In the interest of full disclosure, it's a second, Cg way off 2 inches left, (I'm a lefty). Bottom line, simply a low cost way to evaluate
Global. I didn't know what to expect, but it wasn't this???
The ball goes 35 feet, makes a pronounced angular course correction to the right and is dead straight on that angle until it (weakly) hits the pocket.
By my thought, this is the dictionary definition of "hook set". In fact, I looked in the online dictionary under "hook set" and there it was, a picture of my S75..
Yuck. Question is, what's the primary component causing this? It has a 4 inch pin 1/2 inch above and right of ring finger, 900 Logo just left of thumb, Cg 1.5 inch right of VAL on midline, weight hole on VAL.
Is this a characteristic of the ball, the fact that it's a second with way off Cg, or the layout? I doubt it's the layout, since I use it that way on other balls...
Constructive feedback on how to change the reaction would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
