BREAK POINT
Drill Angle = 65
VAL Angle = 60
Pin to PAP = 5 1/8
This ball was drilled for the 2009 USBC OPEN. The pattern created was a pin under the bridge with the MB being about 1-inch right of the thumb.
The reaction created is very smooth and controllable. Because this ball has a medium RG and medium DIFF I tend to play a smaller swing and stay more along the oil line of the condition. Any minor(1-2 boards) miss right and the ball will read a little quicker but setup, any minor (1-2 boards) miss left and the ball is able to maintain its line in the oil and still deliver enough backend to finish off the corners.
I use this ball on patterns where the oil is heavier up front and I want to control the backends. This usually happens when my line from target to breakpoint is less than 10 boards.
BREAK POINT PEARL
Drill Angle = 75
VAL Angle = 35
Pin to PAP = 4 7/8
This ball was drilled to maximize use on House Patterns and the PBA Cheetah. The pattern created was a pin above my ring and the MB falls just inside the thumb.
The reaction created was a skid/flip...skid/heavy roll. The reason I gave this ball two types of reactions is because when playing inside the 3rd and 4th arrow this ball will skid/flip on most patterns. The heavy roll occurs when the pattern is a little longer and a more blended backend rather than a distinct friction zone.
A perfect combination to the Solid Break Point as the higher DIFF allows for that bigger backend move and the pearl cover helps clear the mids much easier, allowing for bigger a target to breakpoint line of 10-15 boards.

Drill Angle = 60
VAL Angle = 40
Pin to PAP = 4 3/4
This ball was drilled to complement the Break Point Pearl. I went with a little stronger layout and angles because of the high RG and low DIFF.
The reaction is fairly long and works extremely well on severe broken down patterns where the fronts are gone or there is a lot of friction in the track area. I use this ball a when I bowl in House Shot type tournaments that have 6+ games involved because the track area and really anything 15 board and out is fairly dry. The ball allows me to move right and play in the friction when the Break Point Pearl is too strong where is reading too fast on the pattern and losing it's energy when it gets to the pocket.
MANY THANKS TO ERIC THOMAS AND 900 GLOBAL FOR THE OPPORTUNITY TO THROW THEIR EQUIPMENT.

You guys are all very knowledgeable and I bet you are also great bowlers. This forum is lucky to have you guys.

I wasn't expecting others to post their arsenal on here, but that's cool. It's nice to see how other people are laying out their equipment.
I am hoping that the review will spark some conversation and questions amongst those who currently have the equipment or are thinking of trying the equipment. I myself have used these balls on various conditions and would be happy to recommend layouts that may suit an individuals game.

I had been a Storm/Roto guy only since the Eraser series. I had drilled a couple of Dynothane ZR-40's when Phil was there and liked the reaction (core reminded me of the old Power Bolt core) so I started my Global/AMF arsenal with the awakening. Then i got a Break Pearl and S-75 from Britton. At that point i was hooked and just started replacing my arsenal with AMF and Global. Now the only balls i have that are not theirs are my 14# spare ball and the SX-1. I like the fact that they are not a ball of the week manufacturer and that their stuff does what they say it does!
