Yes, an additive. I wasn't referring to the technology of "soaker," strictly the name. I tried to find the old threads about this discussion, but haven't been able to. Seems that some stuff disappeared after the upgrade, possibly having to do with threads from people that are no longer users....so maybe that is why I can't find them.
Anyways, what was basically said (I believe by Phil) was that Ebonite now owned the name "Soaker," so it couldn't be used.....same thing with "SuperFlex." Now, if you know what to order, you can call up BASF and order "SuperFlex," you just can't call it "SuperFlex." Same thing with "Soaker." If you know what chemicals and amounts to order you can have it made......or buy it and mix it in house.
It was likened to the formula for Coca-Cola or the Colonel's blend of spices. You don't want to patent it because then you have to publish the ingredients and way to make it. Better to keep it a secret, to which Phil said he still had the "recipe" and we would see it again......and we did.
I guess my point was, I'm surprised that 900Global didn't trademark/copyright a name for the S75 cover.....maybe something like "Absorbz" or "Spongz" or something like that. I'm guessing it had something to do with staying consistent with the cover naming scheme (all numbers) instead of coming up with stuff like "Activator," "Traxion Reactive," "GB," and so on.
As it stands now, we don't know if any release has the special "additive" unless they tell us.
Now whether Phil is the ONLY person that knows how to make "soaker," that is a different story.
