Received my Break Pearl yesterday from tekneek. It was one of his that he drilled at his shop for himself and just wasn't finding the time to throw. He wasn't exactly married to it. It was a long pin second(6") and was properly drilled to, effectively, create a 4.5x70 degrees drilling. Very nice choice for this pill and my style of play. After a little work on the thumbhole, I was set for league play.
I was immediately impressed with how smooth off the breakpoint it was reacting for a strong pearl. Long pin or not, our league shot has pretty fresh backends and was hoping the ball wouldn't look like it was kicked left. After the intial read, however, the ball seemed to gather a ton of momentum towards the hole. Hard charging arc that I hadn't seen in a pearl in a long time. I've been having a lot of success with a couple of brunswick pin-down pearls that have a LOT more midlane and a little less backends. So, this ball was going to be a work in progress.
Or, so I thought.

Evil good. Sick. Two 10-pins the entire day. Awesome carry and continuation through the pin deck. All of this and the ball looks absolutely second to none. It hits the pocket every bit as good as the damned thing looks, and that's saying something. I'll be looking to get another one of these pills and drill it with the pin under the ring with a tamer MB position to see how it stacks up against the Big B stuff I'd been killing 'em with.
