I recently picked up a used Bounty, and after seeing a few drilled pretty strong. I decided to do something out of the norm. I decided to use the Tommy Jones Trick layout. I have been having some problems as of late with some aspects of the game, ie sending the ball through the break point, over reaction on the back parts of the lane. With this layout I also decided to take the cover to 2000. What I got out of the ball was something very readable, something I could not send through the break point.
I ended up switching to the ball after the first game of my Friday league, started out with the front 5 with my Twisted Fury, then I ran into the typical carry down, then just makes everything push down the lane so hard and fast. Like I said earlier I switched to the Bounty the 2nd game, and played the same line that the carry down killed my TF. Ended up going 247, and 213 with two 7-10's. Every ball was in the pocket, only had to make a slight adjustment with my feet in the 3rd game. With this ball I was able to be deeper then everyone, playing the oil line where the ball hit like a ton of bricks. I could also leak it out have have it roll up nice and hard, but did lose a little on the carry, hence the two 7-10's.
All in all a very nice piece and glad I gave TJ trick layout another chance after the Raid fiasco I had using this layout in the past.
A little info about myself:
Higher rev player, never really found out how much though. Speed around 18-20 on those good days. Inverted tracker low tracker, pap is 4 1/2 and down 1/2.
Thanks for checking out my 1st impressions of this ball. Also I would give Global serious consideration when you are looking for your next ball.
John
ps. I will be starting to make videos in the coming weeks, finally got a nice camera.
