Without knowing your ball speed, PAP, etc. its a bit difficult to recommend a layout. However, generally speaking, the ball you are getting having 2oz t/w and 1-1.5" pin will make this ball start up earlier. You may be a little limited on prefered layouts, but hopefully your driller should be able to set you up with something that suits your game. With that being said, I had an original Train with a 1-1.5" pin and being that I didn't want to kick out the CG as this would have resulted in a large hole, I chose to keep it inside the ring finger and place the ping in the ring finger. This resulted in a very smooth, controlable ball reation. Ultimately, it was perfect for fresh THS and medium-heavy oil shots. I found that even with this layout I still had to move into the oil. Although I couldn't send it extremely out, I could make a mistake right and still have a fair amount of recovery. Just remember to use the oil with these aggressive cover balls.
