OK,
So I had the original Gold Blue Wisdom, very jumpy and powerful off the spot.
For Seniors? I don't think so.
Then I read the description of this ball and they say S65 but weaker? Wha? They say same core from way back with the Ti Boss or is it the tall core from the Noize series..... but less diff and higher rg than the original Wisdom. Oh yeah, I found this old but goody core!
http://www.bowlingballvault.com/companies/7-columbia-300/217-noizeOk, it looks smoother in the videos than the Blue/Gold Wisdom. Ebay deal for me! Then I see a senior in our house getting 3 boards of hook, in a very hooky house. He says guys in his region of Florida our nearly breaking in to each others houses for this ball!
Whatever, I drill about 4.75 Pin to Pap with a slight kick out and pin up and it is my mildest skid snap ball ever at 3000 and Ebonite Polish sweet! It is sort of in my Roto Uproar Area of the lane but instead of being rev up sweep category it is skid, slurve.
On a fairly wet in the middle but severe top hat, I can create a slight amount of area with good length. With a bent wrist I can hit my mark and swing and hit or tug and hit with 2 inches of hook in the crown. Both carry!
With a cocked to straight wrist I can smoothly skid slurve a nice arc to the pocket with pretty good hit as long as I don't create too much total curve early.
Whoo, whoo, I can see what the seniors are cheering about!
So even though I don't believe the coverstock rating! I love it for the light end of my arsenal. A slightly straighter version of a beautiful Storm Lightning Flash I had a long time ago! In the bag and my teammates like it!
Regards,
Luckylefty
PS I shouldn't have posted this till I had a back up! Drat! PPS I have thrown on drier shots with dry heads and mids and it is delightful with quite a bit of curve and hit. You righties see more of that.
