Doug,
I received my link and drilled it up today. Pin 4" from PAP, PAP-pin-MB angle of 50 degrees. Pin is about 1" above finger line in a 1:00 position in relation to ring finger. CG is 2" right of grip center allowing a weight hole 2" down on the VAL. FWIW, ending weights are 3/4 side, 5/8 finger.
I threw the ball on a fresh house shot tonight. I quickly found a good line throwing across 13 (at the arrows arrows) to a breakpoint of 7. This ball is super clean through the heads and mids, then makes a serious turn when it gets to the end of the buff (oh, and of course it hits like a tank/truck/train etc...LOL! Seriously though, it hits and carries as good as anything else I've thrown.). I could miss right all I wanted, and the ball never failed to make it back to the pocket. I was able to miss a board or two left, and the ball would hold pocket. However, much more than that and the ball would skid through the puddle and come up light. I tried moving right to play up the dry outside, and I could not throw the ball hard enough to keep it on the right side. This ball is NOT for dry lanes! Anything from light to medium would be fine.
So, for you, Doug...I would say go ahead and drill one up (because it is an exceptional value), but don't expect to be able to play straight up the outside
Way to go 900G on another great product!
