He was throwing the Lunatic and a polished Break Point. Polishing the Break Point made it look like the S-75 BlueJay (overseas release).

Who would have thought that of the four finalists in a PBA event two would be throwing (Storm) Urethane and the other two AMF/900G?? Wow!
That cannot be making the Brunswick and Ebonite/Hammer/Columbia/Track folks very happy. But it says an awful lot about the products coming out of San Antonio and Utah. AMF????? 900G????? A couple of years ago no one would have believed how far they would come.

As many people have stated before. This thing goes in cycles of what company/companies are hot on tour. For awhile years ago Track was hot, Brunswick had it's fair share of times as well as Columbia and Ebonite.

I don't disagree with your cyclical analysis. However Brunswick and Ebonite/Columbia/Hammer/Track are the big boys in the industry. There would be something wrong in their corporate cultures if they weren't questioning why they are currently not the top dogs and such a little dog like 900G is showing them up.

I think Brunswick/the Ebonite family will be happy with next weeks show.

Why does it have to be the equipment, these are the best bowlers in the world and they have had sucsess with a number of different companies. Granted, some bowlers match up with some companies better than others but do you think that Norm Duke or Walter Ray could not win with any manufacturer. The companies try to put the balls in the hot hands on tour so we think its the ball and they sell more balls, its a business.

Walter Ray HAS won with numerous companies...
