The cores on both the Respect and Respect Pearl are similar but the core in the pearl was slightly tweaked. The pearl has a weaker cover with a higher RG and lower diff compared to the Respect. What that translates into is with the pearl you will have cleaner read through the heads and more push through the midlane. The feedback I have gotten from others is that the pearl has a strong, continuous backend motion as opposed to a quick transition on the dry and turning left. And yes, the Respect Pearl fits as a great compliment to the Respect and is a great ball down option. If you want more of a skid/snap motion, then the Dream would fit that description and be a step down from the Respect. A Black Ops is another ball that will fit the skid/snap motion as well. Hope this helps.
