They probably discontinued the ZenU for a few reasons. Sure, releasing new balls to boost sales is part of it, but it could also be due to things like production issues or just not selling as well as they hoped. Sometimes they retire older models to make room for new ones or because it was too similar to other urethane balls they already have. There is only one reason balls get discontinued.  Ain't enough people buying them.

I've been out of it for a while, but it used to be a ball was released and sales decreased about 50% every month.  If you don't start with a pretty good number, it gets small pretty quick. The balls that stick around are the exception to that pattern.
