The all-new 900 Global Afterburner screams “welcome to the revolution!” With its brand new S62 Hybrid Coverstock and Ignition Symmetric Core, 900 Global has clearly set a new standard in value performance bowling balls. The Afterburner is a decisive asset to any bowlers’ arsenal. Let’s break it down.

The all new Ignition Core had a surprisingly powerful punch to it. I liked how this core rev’d up a bit later than most symmetric cores, as it allowed more stored power to crush through the pins.  Whether a late night THS or a short sport pattern, the core provided a reliable and predictable motion I could rely on, yet still had that added strength I needed for those times when you pray for that extra carry (because you know you missed).

Now, about the S62 Hybrid Coverstock - WOW! Traction is the first word that came to mind after my first roll with the Afterburner. In THS conditions, I loved how this cover reacted! Being a straighter and, at times, a down and in player, this cover made it easy to adapt to playing far right. I loved how it was more aggressive in the heads, yet still provided a smooth overall reaction through the mids and smoothly blended the carry down at the back-end.  Being a fan of surface adjustments, the S62 Hybrid Coverstock simply excels. Tweak this cover to fit your particular style, speed and rev’s and this cover becomes an awesome choice for many bowler styles in many medium-dry conditions.

My final thoughts on the 900 Global Afterburner are impressive. With the combination of the Ignition Core and the S62 Hybrid Coverstock, the Afterburner has really become the new industry standard in performance bowling balls. 900 Global has done an awesome job with the all new Afterburner. Visit your local pro-shop operator and put one in your bag today. It’s worth it!

The Purple/Black Afterburner is a fantastic buy for the price. Do not let the affordable price fool you, this ball can compete in many conditions. When you need a ball that won't burn up on drier or shorter conditions, this is the ball for you. With being finished at 1500 and polish, this hybrid pushes through the fronts easily but still is able to gain traction in the oil. The ball continues to drive throughout the pins with explosive force. The Purple/Black Afterburner is sure to not disappoint. Everyone should have one in their arsenal!

The 900 Global After Burner
Versatile describes this ball perfectly. High rev bowlers with speed, this could be a dry lane ball,
Medium to low rev bowlers with medium to low speed this could be used on the fresh or slightly
dry. In some cases, with longer oil but a dry backend it can be used. The S62 hybrid cover is stronger
than most covers possibly all in the lower priced balls. I was totally surprised at the reaction I got on a few different lane conditions. I have medium speed and medium revs and all I did was changed angles
and adjusted my speed, the ball worked great. If you are trying reactive balls for the first time or switching to the fingertip grip or the combination of both, try this ball. Great price for a ball this good.
Don’t think about it, get it.
