Dream
« on: July 18, 2014, 12:03:03 PM »
Description: Live the dream with the 900Global Dream bowling ball. This ball is a good match for bowlers looking for strong and big backend ball motion and is best on medium-heavy oil conditions. This is the first ball to use the 74 Response Pearl coverstock as well as the Identity asymmetric core. The once of a kind shape and versatile density distribution of the core makes it compatible for most styles of bowling.

- Finish: 1500 Grit, Polished
- Color: Red/Blue/Carbon
- Core: Identity Asymmetric
- Length: Medium
- Motion: Snap
- Recommended Lane Condition: Medium-Heavy Oil

Likes:  The asymmetrical core with a pearl coverstock is the perfect blend!  The Dream is very clean through the heads with an angular backend.  On most THS I find this to be my first ball of choice.  If you like to see your ball go long and turn the corner hard then this is your ball.  If the shot is breaking down then all you have to do is move left and send it to the friction, it will most definitely recover.  If you start seeing a little carry down then the Dream On is a must have as it’s an obvious ball to switch to.
Please don’t the angular backend scare you, the Dream carries better than any other skid/flip ball I have ever thrown.  As with all 900 Global balls, it keeps the pins low thus carrying more corner pins.  The Dream carries on both light and solid hits.  If you’re looking for a strong pearl ball with angular backends then the Dream is the ball for you.

The Dream is a strong ball that hooks through the oil.  It is comparable to the dream ON, but gets farther down the lane.  This ball will clearly get through the heads and then have a strong reaction at the breakpoint.  I was able to use this ball on a deep inside line at nationals and swing from about 30 to 10.  I like this ball so much that I got my son one and my wife one as well due to their lower rev rates.  This ball can turn at the friction point on the lane after getting down lane farther than a sanded ball.

Review:

I love what a strong pearl asymmetric has to offer and so the Dream by 900 Global is right in my wheelhouse. The 74 Response Pearl and Identity Asymmetric core are a great compliment. The cover helps the ball through the first 20 feet of the lane and allows the core to store up energy for a big sharp continuous motion down lane. This is a house shot Dream!!! And something you should own if you bowl often on THS conditions.
