Need a dry lane ball well the 900 Global Boost Pearl, Solid, or the Hybrid is the one to go with. I was on a sand paper condition but had no problem keeping my Boost Hybrid in the pocket. When it’s dry in the heads the Boost glides through like there was some oil,
Gets great length down lane and retains enough energy for a sharp move to the pocket
for explosive pin action. Love mine and you would love yours.

For a down & in bowler with medium ball speed, this ball fits my game perfectly on both heavy oil or dry lanes. By simply adjusting ball speed, this ball's versatility knows no limits. The S43 Hybrid coverstock allows this ball to glide smoothly down the lane, then the Launch Symmetric core snaps this ball at the breaking point straight into the pocket. Originally designed for dry lanes, however I find with slower ball speed adjustment, this lanes rocks on medium to heavy oil too!

The Blue/Black Boost Hybrid is the ball I have waiting for from 900Global when it gets late into a tournament or late in league. Bowled on a short pattern 33 ft. and had no trouble getting the ball down the lane. The S43 cover allows you get the ball the heads without having throw the ball down the lane. This ball gets thru the fronts with ease with a angler motion , and keeps pins pretty low for a dry lane ball. This ball fits well with my other balls in the bag. You can also use this ball if you have a slower ball speed and want a ball that you can throw staight up the lane. Great addition to my bag. Thanks 900 Global.

Boost
Great bang for the buck.  Very clean in the heads with a nice readable ball motion at the breakpoint.   Excellent dry lane ball.   Straight players can stay longer in the dry without having to chase the pattern in.  Hook players will have a nice clean controlled ball motion.

Length: 40 feet

Volume: light

Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc): house

Today’s lane conditions dictate that we need to have an arsenal that includes a dry lane piece.  Global has introduced the perfect selection for that need: the Boost.  The combination of the Launch symmetric weight block and the S43 Hybrid cover make an awesome pairing for that ball to use on drier lane conditions.

The Boost shows great length to get through those chopped up heads and mids that we all encounter late in league night or later on in tournament squads.  The energy the Boost builds up is expended in the back ends as it makes a sharp break and hits the pins extremely hard.  I was able to play a variety of lines with the Boost which makes it a winner in my book.  I started playing very straight up the outside around 5 or 6.  I then slowly moved in saw no difference in power entering the pocket.

The Boost comes in 3 very attractive color combinations, Blue/Black, Orange/Yellow and Purple/Cream.  This is definitely a piece you will want to have in your arsenal.  When the lanes get tricky, give your game the Boost it needs!

Finally a dry lane ball that performs as it says!  Drilled up the Boost Hybrid 5" pin from PAP, box finish.  Extremely pleased to see tons of length, even on broken down house shot in track area.  NO early hook whatsoever for me.  What it does have is a consistent hard charging backend!  No over/under on dry pattern.  I was able to play just inside track area with room to tug (a little) and tons of room to miss right.  Powerful backend had pins dancing all over.  Great light hit carry ball for me.  Bang for the buck here big time.  Love the hybrid cover, very easy to tweak surface.  An A pad gave me earlier roll, smoother backend that let me use this ball during 1st game of league play in track area.

Great job 900 Global!

Clean through the heads and predictable ball motion. Back end is a very smooth and controllable ball motion. This ball combines the core from the Wisdom and the cover from the Hook! series. If you want a ball for light or medium conditions then this is the perfect fit. I found success with this ball on broken down shots or lower volume conditions. Compared to a Hook!, this ball will be longer and not read the midlane so aggressively.

Drilling:   Pin over middle finger CG in palm
Surface:   OOB
Lane condition:   41ft THS
Description:   This is my go to ball when the lanes are getting over/under. It has a milder core/cover combo, but the hybrid shell gets the best of both worlds from solid and pearl. Reads the midlane, but still has that backend pop. The boost series will be a great ball for any up and coming bowler for their first entry level reactive ball, or it is a great addition to a seasoned bowlers arsenal when they need something for the last game of league or deep into a tournament. It hits well, it carries great, and it clears the heads without worry.

Likes:  If you desire a cleaner rolling ball on dryer conditions then wait no longer, the Boost Blue/Black Hybrid is here!  My first time rolling this ball I was on a fresh THS and I didn’t see much reaction.   As the lanes dried up I pulled it out again and I was amazed at how controlled it was getting down the lane.  Even with dryer heads this ball didn’t read the lanes too early, and had a very smooth reaction down lane.  This ball is so versatile that it doesn’t matter what kind of bowler you are, it will work for you.  Don’t let the low cost of this ball fool you, it will definitely compete with a lot of high priced balls.
I haven’t played with the surface of this ball because I’m happy with the OOB finish.

300 game on 2015 El Paso Nationals pattern.  Nuff said!  This ball is smooth, get through the heads, and still has enough energy to make it through the pin deck.  I have recommended this ball to several people who have seen me throw mine.  I have virtually never seen a ball roll this well.  It is just so smooth at the breakpoint and still makes it back to the pocket.  This ball is my go-to when I need to step down from my premiere line ball.

Likes:Wow this ball has amazing hook! This ball really shouts down the land & when it finds the dry boards, it's like a hockey stick shape heading to the pocket. It has a very skid/flip reaction. This ball is in its element on med to light oil lanes.

BALL SPECS:

Coverstock: S43 hybrid
Finish: 2000 Grit - Polished
Core: Launch Symmetric
Layout: 50 x 4 x 35
RG: 2.54
Differential: 0.043

TEST ENVIROMENT:

41’ House Shot – Synthetic Surface

REVIEW:

When I first drilled the Boost Hybrid I didn’t know what to think.  I thought it was going to be just another low-end piece.  MAN WAS I WRONG with the pin stacked above my ring finger gives the ball a little more push down lane and comes off the end of the pattern HARD.  The S43 Hybrid coverstock makes the Boost reads the lane a little earlier then the pearl Boost.  Which will make players move 3 or 4 boards inside and be able to open up their angles.
