Very impressed with this ball. I have bowled on two different shots, a modified 40 foot house shot, and a standard THS. The clearance through the heads is amazing, and it's midlane read is unstoppable. It has a surprisingly angular look to it on the backend and really turns hard. It stores a lot of energy with its RG diff and I am amazed with the core in the Break series.

I compared the ball with my other long/heavy oiler the NTense LevRG (reaction video coming soon). The Ntense was a bit earlier with a much smooter arc moving to the pocket. The breakpoint was about 2-3 feet longer but almost 2 more boards of finish on the back end. A simple 2 board move with my feet left at the same break point board allowed me to play the Break Point longer and stronger than the NTense.

Although it has the s73 cover on it at 4000 grit, do not be fooled by it's specifications. This ball in my opinion is stronger than the s75 and can even rival the Bounty.

I'm incredibly impressed with this ball. It's a great complement to the line and definitely fills in that heavier oil mark for the Break series.

I'm quickly becomeing a 900 Global loyal customer and recommend this ball for anyone interested!

Drilling: wet/dry drill pattern, 12 o' clock pin down, no hole needed.

What can be said about perfection?!

The NEW Break Point seems to combine the snap of the Original Break with the midlane of the S75 making this ball a real winner! Drilled this one right off the 900 Global drill sheet for wet/dry conditions. I had a shorter pin (1 inch) - pin down 12 o' clock, no hole. The roll this gives me out of the box at 4000 abralon is impressive! Good midlane on heavier pattern with a backend to boot. The balls seems duller than 4000 but I was able to move as deep as I wanted and still kick out the corners, 773 right out of the box on a 42 ft pattern. Polished is extremely flippy. Great for inside lines or broken-down conditions. What I like best is that it is easy to read coming off the dry making my adjustments easier and my carry even better.

This is a "go to" ball that easily accepts surface adjustments to fit your game. Great ball from 900 Global that really rounds out the Break Line, give it a try.

ball specs: 15.30 lbs, top weight 3.00 ounces, pin out 3"inches.
Drilling: between drillings 1&2 on 900 global drill sheet. about 4 X 4.5
Lane surface: Amf high friction 3/8" inch synthetic
ball surface: 500 or 1000 grit abralon, no polish

We bowl on the kegal patterns. Just got my break point 2 weeks ago when we started on the 40 foot flat pattern, 4 got the name, sorry.
Been able to use the ball at 4-5-6. Anything inside that and the ball will hook, lol used the ball on a variety of conditions from ths to sport pattern. Ball tends to play better the straighter you play. have had success with the ball so far. very consistant and keeps pins low. another winner from 900 global!!!!!

good ball and great with surface adjustments.

This is my first time drilling a 900 Global ball.I have to say that i was really impresed.I laid it out with the pin 3 3/4 x60x30 with no weight hole and left the surface with 4000 abralon.BP is very clean through the fronts and reads the midlane nice with a very strong move on the backend.I could through it as far right as i wanted and didn't have to worry about it not coming back.BP has a very short and quick transition when it encounters friction.This is a ball you can open up the lane with and have really good carry.

My goal with the Break Point was to provide a stronger finish on a fresh THS than my original Break. Having the N'Tense LevRG, I wanted a similar amount of hook just much further down the lane. OOB the ball did not offer as much recovery thus I just was inconsistent, so it sat on the rack for the end of league after only a few games.

During the summer I've experimented with different cover preps and this ball was much better for me at 2000 abralon. It provided more area and a stronger look on the backend vs OOB. I swear the OOB cover is more 1000 than 4000, regardless I'm very glad I made the adjustment.

Carry is much improved over OOB, leaving a few stone 9's but sending pins everywhere. Overall it's about 2-3 boards stronger with a more pronounced move on the backend over the original Break solid.

As designed, the Break Point is not as smooth as the original Break solid but definitely handles more oil. Another fine piece from the stellar team at 900 Global!

layout and surface:
4.5 x 4.5 4000 abralon

fresh house shot:
this ball isn't a good house shot ball for me unless they run a higher volume ball needs alot more head oil. for me when i can throw this ball it is a great ball if i can get lined up with it fast enough.

PBAX(chameleon, scorpion, shark):
chameleon- ball is good for about a game and a half for me playing a deeper angle playing 30 out to 10. once the lanes start to open up ball goes in the bag seems to work on a tighter shot.
scorpion- ball works great once you get a bit of carrydown as long as there still some head oil started standing on 18 and playing out to 7-8 and it worked well.
shark- for me i have problems with this pattern but this ball allowed me to stand on 15 and just back shot the 8 board if i missed out it tried to recover.

final thoughts:
i expected this ball to be a little angular but it isn't for me anyway i really like the roll it gives me no matter if I'm standing inside or rolling it up on heavier oil. noticed one thing this ball gets sluggish if there isn't enough speed to get it down the lane seems to want to roll out on a house pattern. all in all another good piece from global just a little more shot sensitive then the others I've tried.

BREAK POINT

Drill Angle = 65

This ball was drilled for the 2009 USBC OPEN. The pattern created was a pin under the bridge with the MB being about 1-inch right of the thumb.

The reaction created is very smooth and controllable. Because this ball has a medium RG and medium DIFF I tend to play a smaller swing and stay more along the oil line of the condition. Any minor(1-2 boards) miss right and the ball will read a little quicker but setup, any minor (1-2 boards) miss left and the ball is able to maintain its line in the oil and still deliver enough backend to finish off the corners.

I use this ball on patterns where the oil is heavier up front and I want to control the backends. This usually happens when my line from target to breakpoint is less than 10 boards.

first off got this ball outta of a trade w/ somone on this site
layout:

ok now that ive had a couple weeks too get use to this ball. this is the most predictable reacting ball ive ever had. this ball has some great carry also.

house shot:
this ball covers up for a board miss hera and there and is nice and smooth on fresh shot and doesnt seem to really overeact, tranisition are small but noticable with this ball. ball keeps the pins low and really amd mixes up great

pbax shot:
had the chance to throw this ball 1 time on the shark and twice on the scorpion and on the shark too weak of layout for it but the scorpion this ball is very good as long as im hitting my mark

Great all around ball, my favorite bench mark ball, has a strong flip on back end. Plays 3rd & 4th arrow well. Very Even rolling, and smooth through the heads and is non speed sensitive. I found that this ball does not like Heavy oil or flat patterns, but I have never changed the cover. I believe if I took it down to 2000 or 1000 it would excel with no problems, and would tame the back end to a slow arc, giving me a better look. I plan on getting another one and laying it out rico so I can have a better spread keeping the same core, and cover!

I tried 900 Global after a recomendation from Bobby Hall prior to him earning his Tour Exemption, Thanks bro, and good luck on the tour!
